After All Is Done

so what exactly does the end bring
what would be to happen should you kill yourself
what judgement would be used to decide what happens
in general, what happens
does it matter really what you do in life
if death ends all significance to it, takes away its purpose
nothing is the closest answer i have found
and only now do i realize that death might be painful
the sharp twisting of life in your face
holding it in front of you, making you wish for life
a life that didn't exist in the first place
only a fiction of what you had wished had happened
but you believed in it, trusted yourself
but you should have listened to that painful truth
when you told yourself, "This is too good to be happening."
death is by no means an escape from pressures
it is a punishment for your faults
and this is it that draws us to it
this and nothing else
